I am hoping to get some advice on a situation.
A friend of mine was seriously injured in a workplace accident some years ago, (broken back, unable as a result to walk freely and left to take a cocktail of painkillers each day to relieve constant pain). He was not at fault for the accident.
Unfortunately he passed away recently without ever making it to court.
His solicitor has told the family that his case dies with him. However this solicitor has been very poor and has dragged his heels with this case, the accident occurred over a decade ago and the family are unsure as to believe him.
My friend was hoping this case would finally have gone to court in the summer so my question is: is this case now closed?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
