Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone knows is there a limit on the amount of the two withdrawals allowed with Permanent TSB's Bonus account. Am presuming that this account and KBC's account have the best interest rates where you may need to access cash in the short term and have a six figure sum to invest or is there a better option that I am missing?

You lose the variable bonus if you make 3 or more withdrawals between 1 January and 31 December. i.e. the rate of return drops significantly.

Am presuming that this account and KBC's account have the best interest rates where you may need to access cash in the short term and have a six figure sum to invest or is there a better option that I am missing?

KBC's rate is capped at 100,000 EUR so it is not suitable for a 6 figure sum.

Yes I have read the best buys and have noted your comments re Permanent TSB's Bonus account as I would be making one or two large withdrawals not leaving much in the account if I needed to access funds and just wondered if this is ok which I assume it is. I also note your comments re KBC's account where the max balance allowed is 100,000.

When I opened a Booster account recently I was told there was no limit on the amounts withdrawn, just the number of withdrawals.
The booster interest is worked out on average funds held.

I think the maximum you can withdraw during the 12 months period is up to 25% of the total amount you have invested.

You can withdraw as much as you want.
