Perlico Broadband operates on start up but when switch to a browser it crashes.

Broadband at home is giving trouble for the past 2 weeks.

Operates on start up but when you go to switch a browser it crashes and the DSL light on the modem comes on. End of service.

We have tried another modem and this does'nt work either.

We have rang Perlico the broadband provider so many times and got the run around.

I am ready to kill some one Any ideas?

Should we pull the plug and go with a new provider?

Any suggestions on who?

I'm no expert but I have been having trouble, have you tried a speed test? Go to; www.speedtest.net and click on the gold star, which will give you ping rate, Dowload and upload speed. Anything under a ping of 100 mbs is considered OK, mine was Ping 45mbs, dowload 2.66 Upload 0.33 but has slowed down

When a friend was having trouble with Perlico I told her to contact http://www.comreg.ie/ As soon as she did so the problem was sorted. Worth a try.
