Pensions - Missing years

I have not made any contributions to my state pension in six years due to employment outside Ireland. I’m 32 and continue to be in permanent employment outside Ireland. I only have 2.5 years of contributions in Ireland. Starting a pension in my current country of residence is not an option.

How would I estimate how much it would cost me to back pay my contributions? What are my other options?
