Pensioners & Free Phone Line Rental

With all the new phone companies cannot seem to find out if they give pensioners free line rental

Parents are in this age group and presently with Eircom where they get free line rental

Is this the case for all the phone companies as I have told them to switch to Utv talk, as they might get BB also

The line rental is always with Eircom so will continue to get this freee as far as I am aware!

On ESAT BTs change of supplier form (to change from Eircom or whoever to ESAT BT), there is a section to be filled in if you get free or reduced price phone line rental.
