I've been PAYE for past 2 years (no company pension) and prior to that self-employed.
Last year I took out once off pension with Irish Life to avail of tax-breaks for 2002. I could end up self employed again at some point in the future. I could add to that pension to reduce my 2003 tax. Does it sounds like a PRSA would be more suitable in this senario?
Slightly separate question, I have relative working for Irish Life and I can get commission free pension with them as a result. So maybe I should start a new pension or PRSA. Would you still advise going through an advisor?
Thanks you for any help
