Pension less than 850.00 euro in it can i withdraw?

Hi im wondring if anyone could give me some advice i have an old pension with my current employment i havent paid into it for years and when i did at the start i paid into it for less than 2 years leaving me with a fund balance of 848.00 euro in it. Pension is a group PRSA with New Ireland Assurane. I rang them and i was told yea i could have a refund but as you need to have less that 650.00 euro in it to be entitled to refund whch i have slightly more the girl told me that unless it drops in value then i wouldnt be able to remove funds as thsi is due to new goverment rules?

Does this sound right? Any advice woudl be helpful, i dont want to transfer the funds to another pension scheme.

Sounds right to me

Once you are in service for more than 2 years you cannot access until at least age 50 and you have left employment.
