I am an english woman living in Ireland for almost ten years. I worked full time for 2 years and part time for over five years. In England I worked full time. I am now 60, and could have retired with a pension in England. I am about to be made redundant in Ireland. Is there any possibility of claiming a UK pension if i have paid PRSI in Ireland?

You should apply for your Uk pension imediately as you are 60. Go to www.welfare.ie, type in EUP65 into the search bar and print off the application form. Send it to Pension Services Office, College Road, Sligo (as you have to apply in the country that you are resident in i.e. Ireland) and that will start the ball rolling.
