Hi

Im 25 and started a PRSA through the company in October 05. I contribute 8% and they give 3%. I opted for some of the higher risk options. However I have recently decided to go to OZ for a year next Jan/Feb 07. I will leave the job and won't be expecting it to be here for me when i get back. But what happens to my PRSA should i be giving regular contributions? will i be penalised?
Thanks

The PRSA is yours and in your name. You can stop contributing to it any time you like and can also recommence whenever you like. Just leave it where it is and when you get a jod upon your return you can start to contribute to it again or if your new employer has a PRSA in place with another company you can transfer it over at no cost.

If you stop contributing and leave it where it is it will continue to follow the performance of the fund in which it is invested.
