I am an Irish citizen, and have been contributing to my pension here in Ireland for a few years. I also have a UK pension as I was working there for 10 years.
My wife is non-EU, she never worked in the EU so has not made any pension contributions here. She is staying at home full time to look after our children. We are jointly assessed for tax as a married couple.
Is there a way we can start to make voluntary pension contributions for her here in Ireland even though she has never worked in an EU country?
