I am currently 51 years old and putting 5 percent into my company pension plan. My employer matches this 5 percent.
I also put in AVC s of another 10 percent and also my end of year bonus.
I would like to increase my contributions to the 30 percent limit that I am allowed.
Does my employers 5 percent contribution count as part of my 30 percent limit?
If not then I would like to increase my AVC contribution to 20 percent which would bring me close to my allowable limit. Thank you in advance.
