Penalty Points - speeding fine not paid on time

Caught speeding, got letter out, did not know if it were me or a family member driving. found out after 5 weeks that can ring up for a photo, rang the next week, they said u have to send a letter. sent it at about the 6 week mark, then they printed out the letter 2 days over my 56days so when i sent in the form it was 10 days to late and now im going to court!!

Should they not have extended my time to aloow for the week they delayed in printing out my photo???

No! The notice clearly states that stalling of any kind does not extend the 56 day period. Your best bet was ignoring the notice and claiming non service but that option is no longer open now.
