Pembroke Cottage refurb ideas?

Hi,

We're planning to refurb a Pembroke Cottage in D4. It's one of the double fronted, single story ones, with two small bedrooms to one side and a living room on the other with a small kitchen behind it and a yard out the back.

I think the Dublin council web site used to include suggested layouts for remodeling these cottages but I can't seem to find them any more.

Would anyone have a copy of these plans or even plans or photos of other similar refurbs you may have done, just to give us a few ideas of the most suitable place for the kitchen etc etc.

A lot of people seem to go out into the back yard with the bedrooms and make the original cottage into an open plan living area.
