PC Tune up. Ashampoo Windows Optimizer -Is this useful?

I have a relatively new laptop (3 yrs old). Is this program good for keeping the laptop operating well? I am not very tech savvy,( Ido know how to create a restor point tho!) so I want something that is fairly idiot proof. It seems to get good reviews, [broken link removed]

is it worth using this program or are there better alternatives?

I've been using Glary Utilities and find it good, especially the "one-click maintenance" option which makes life very simple. But the review you linked to rates the WinOptimiser as slightly better.

Make sure you follow the advice given about backing everything up and creating a restore point, though!

Thanks DoctorM. I'll be very careful! Some of this stuff is way over my head, so Ionly do what I understand.
