Back in August I bought a computer & laptop and fell into the trap of paying monthly insurance on the products. Im paying 80 a month on both for 10 months. None of the 2 companies are answering the phones, but i was wondering if someone knew if these could be cancelled.
 

Suppose it depends on the terms and conditions but you should try to cancel. The 800 you are paying would pay for a decent new desktop alone.
 
I remember you mentioned this some time ago in the context of finding ways to lower your living expenses and several people (myself included) advised you to cancel that rip-off insurance as a first priority.

on the phone to them right now. Lets hope i can cancel.
 
Probably best to cancel from your end too. These things have a knack of failing the register properly and the money could leave your account again next month.

Hi there,

Yes i cancelled through my bank. They even said it would be quicker to ring them as a payment was due out this week.
