I'm looking at a PC for a friend,When you turn it on,the HDD led goes green for about half a second and then the power led goes orange, almost as if it's in standby. There is no video output to the monitor,I've checked the voltages on the HDD and A drive and they are getting power.I tried using a Boot disk but it makes no difference,I set the HDD up as a slave and I can see and access all the files, but to be certain I put a Known good HDD into the PC and still no joy.It was running Windows NT as it was a company PC which was imaged before being given back to the staff for personal use.Is it possible the BIOS has been messed with and if so how can I salvage anything consdiering I can't even get a monitor signal!I'm guessing that if the Video card had gone bad the PC would at least boot up correctly?Any ideas
