PC Freezes when watching real player

Does anyone know why my PC keeps freezing when watching a video clip on the real player ?

256 RAM SEEMS to be insufficient if u have many program running in background at same time..try close off a few when using WMP..or better solution is to upgrade ur RAM to 512 or more..

Still freezes when reinstalled also when playing windows media player how do I upgrade to 512 RAM ?

you need to open up the pc and check the RAM type...its written on the back of the RAM..

where did u buy ur PC? if u can go back to the seller/shop and give them the spec they should be able to help you out

Better to use one of the memory vendors' memory configurators to select memory parts that are 100% guaranteed to work with your PC/motherboard. Otherwise there is always a risk of buying memory that looks like it should work but is actually incompatible. Check other threads for recommendations on where to look for memory online.
