PC bought on UK website - Warranty from Packard Bell - agent in Ireland?

I am looking to buy a Packard Bell laptop from saveonlaptops.co.uk website as it is considerably cheaper. However, I don't want to have to send my pc to the UK to get it fixed if I need to claim under the warranty. does anyone know if i do this, if there is an agent in Ireland?

Your contract will be with the shop itself, so you need to satisfy yourself that they will deal with any issues to your satisfaction. If you ask them the above question, how long does it take them to respond? Are you happy with their reponse? If they are slow to respond to a potential sale, then you can imagine they are likely to be as bad or even worse when dealing with a complaint.
