I bought cardpoint shares last year, it is now payzone, and trading was suspended in January. I thought that it was just a short term thing but it seems to be ongoing.
Does this sort of thing happen often and will they really start trading again? Will I ever see my money again?

It can happen but I'm not sure about "often". Just like some companies go bust.

and will they really start trading again?

As far as I can see this might only happen when the relevant legal issues leading to the suspension are resolved.

Hi broke2008,
The good news is the suspension was lifted on the 20th of May. The bad news is that the shares are now only worth 9.53p (last night's closing price). Luckily they have an exemplary management team, a shining beacon in a world of widespread corporate mismanagement.
