Hi all, as its year end a relative had to set up a number of payments to payees from a BOI account. However all are still listed as 'pending' tonight and have not gone through. I gather tomorrow banks are open (thought they reopened today?). In any case, will all the historical pending payments commencing 25th December go through tomorrow, they were set to commence on 25th ? also if the amounts go over 10 k cumulatively will they be rejected, each individual days payments to each payee is 10k or under. He normally issues payments by cheque but because of covid decided to set them up in advance online. Looks like it could have been a wrong decision. He cant get a clear answer from online help, other than 3:30 pm is cut off time for each day. Previously had some payments rejected as cumulative transactions on a days banking were slightly over 10k (including credits it seems). If payments are missed by year end accountant wont be happy.
