Payment to Revenue on ROS partially with a credit card, remainder by SDI?

Hi all,
I have recently begun paying Revenue with a Lufthansa Miles & More credit card to collect the airmiles. This has worked fine so far but so far I have always been below the card's limit. I will have an income tax liability for 2023 to pay this week that exceeds the card's limit and I was wondering if it is possible to max the card out and pay the balance using a single debit instruction?

Or alternatively pay some of the liability, clear the card and then pay the remainder?

It is not possible to "load" these cards with credit by transfering to them. Any amount that puts the card into positive territory is returned immediately to the account where the funds came from.

At worst, you could pay part of the bill on the card when filing the return and then make a separate payment through ROS. I don't think there's a way to pay by two separate methods when submitting the return though I've never tried to do it. Just make sure you get everything in by the 14th.
