Hi AAM readers,
I have payment protection on my mortgage (joint with wife) things aren't looking good where I work and I may be unemployed very soon.
I phoned AIB whom I have payment protection with and I was told that I am covered for 100% protection.
The payment protection was sold to me on the basis that If I lost my job that my half was covered and same with my wife. (or so was my understanding)
AIB have told me over the phone that the whole amount is covered which I found hard to believe.
Anybody know if this is the case / have experience similar to mine.
