Help! Going contract- asked to name price!
Hi there,
I have two jobs. One is a PAYE earning €26,000 gross a year. The other is part time PAYE earning €10,000 gross a year. I come out with about €2500 a month. I am soon to quit my full time job and take up another post on contract (20 hours a week). I knowe I'll have to take a pay cut, but hopefull not too mych They have asked me to name a price.
I want to earn gross €30,000 a year to cover myself. If I go on contract, what should I ask for? How will my tax be affected?
