Pay in cheque & get bank draft same day?

Morning,
Just wondering, if I pay in an ulster bank cheque that is coming from an insurance company into BOI tomorrow, will I be able to get a bank draft using the money I have just paid in on the same day or do you have to wait for the cheque to clear?

Jam,

Technically you'll have to wait..... however...

It will depend on amount of cheque/draft - your track record/account operation with bank - also, do you know anyone in your branch, can short circuit things if you do...
