Paul Murphy pays his property tax

I'd vote for neither but if you put a gun to my head and said I had to choose one, it would be Wallace over Murphy. Wallace doesn't pretend to be something he isn't.

I know - I don't believe him either, at least not without a bucket load of supporting evidence. I think my view of him though is that he feels easier to see through - you never feel entirely comfortable to assume he's above board, I think his pronouncements are subject to more skepticism and challenge by everyone. Paul Murphy appears to have some supporters in thrall to his word. He twists stories, plays innocent and maintains a facade of poverty, marginalisation and victimhood. In truth, he is clever, well-educated, from a reasonably normal middle-class background - his posturing smacks to me of cynical manipulation.
