Folks,
we be getting measured for patio doors and windows over the next few days. However I have to prepare where they are located first.
Current situation.
Openings left for doors.
1 block high --inner leaf, then cavity then outer leaf.
Inner floor has to be raised up 150 mm yet when doors go in. (60mm insulation 75 screed, and 15mm finish to floor).
The doors come with a 100mm wide base ans a 32 mm drip tray to the outside. So in order to prepare for the doors I am planning on doing the following over the weekend.
1. Put 50mm kingspan insulation between the 2 leafs of block to the inner leaf.
2. Fill with concrete up to the top of the block.
3. put down a layer of DPC on top of this from one end of door to other end. and put up sides by about 6 inches.
4. make a mould or shutter 100 mm wide by 150mm high.
5. place this directly over what was cavity (until it was filled)
6. Pour with concrete and ensure it is level.
7. Remove the shutter a few days later.
8. The door can now be placed on this step of concrete 100mm wide by 150 high.
Any advise on this. I know some people just prop the door 150mm high and then fill afer with concrete. However the ability to seal this correctly concerns me.

Any ideas please
