Anyone been into the passport office in Dublin in the past few weeks? What are the wait times like?
 
Just to answer my own query! Went into the passport office this morning at about 9.40. Wait time one hour. Great service. Staff exceptionally helpful (despite abuse they received from some customers!)....they seem to be getting through about 80 people an hour. Well done DFA!
 
If its a straightfoward renewal you can use the post office service (they send it off) and dodge the passport office completely
 
Had left it late and needed it in less than 10 days so going in was necessary.
