I am glad to say this is a friend's problem and not mine, she is travelling to England this evening but has arrived in Dublin without her passport, can she travel with a driving license as ID instead
I have travelled on both Aerlingus and Ryan Air using just my drivers licence. However I would suggest that your friend check what ever airline they are travelling with just to make sure.
We flew with Ryanair at the weekend and my boyfriend had no problem using his driving license. Just check with the airline first. Ryanair let you use your driving license for flights within Ireland and to the UK.
