I would like to bring my children on a few days out now and then during the summer. Along the lines of the zoo, national parks, fota that sort of thing. Is there any voucher system or national ticket or card I can buy for a few different places?
Its not National I know, but the Dublin Pass is available I've never bought them myself but they advertise it "from €15 per day, includes the Zoo" I think one of the breakfast cereal brands are advertising some type of discount card for various places at the moment too.
I got a book of vouchers recently for the Shannon region.
Thought it might be worth your while contacting whatever region you're thinking of exploring, and make an enquiry re vouchers or special offers etc.
