Paschal Donohoe gets it wrong on trackers

Did he not advise people to hold onto their UB trackers? That if they go it alone and switch to another bank themselves they’ll lose the tracker. But if they stick with UB until after the loan book is transferred to a new bank they’ll keep the tracker?
 
Surely the point is that they can keep their tracker for the duration of the term?

It doesn’t matter if Donald Trump buys the loan book; it’s a contractual entitlement.

No - he didn't! Poor Áine was trying her best to get him to confirm this but Paschal, as Brendan said, seemed well-meaning but clueless on this point which is a bit shocking. Having said that, to be fair, I think that Paschal is reasonably capable and he usually performs better than this.
