parts taken from parcel

long story short parcel arrive missing a few things today, and my brother signed for it, do i have any comeback?

long story.....


ordered computert parts on the 27th

online tracking says they have tried to deliver it since the 4th

parcel was left in the brothers shop in the town for me today, box looked like it was bashed on 1 corner but thought nothing of it

later on i went through the parcel and found it was missing 2 packets spindles of 50 cds worth about €25

i had a parcel opened before from the same courier, even same delivery man, and it too was delayed due to no contact number on the parcel, thats why i asked them to leave it in the brothers shop since.


anyway i'll shut up winging now... but do I have any comeback?

Hi mukki,

I would have thought that your brother would have only signed on receipt of delivery... signing it to say "Yep, I've accepted the box".

Best bet is to contact the company who sent you the goods.

i was thinking that alright, and if i did notice something missing, i was hardly going to refuse the parcel because i had customers waiting on the parts


sent the supplier an email, i also sent a very angry complaint email to the couriers


edit, rang supplier, told her the story and she just asked if i wanted a refund or the items re-sent, that was so handy.
