parts for a car where?

hi guys.

Would anyone have an idea on where i would go looking for car parts? brake pads, filters etc. i live in the midlands area. would a motor factors shop have them? do you think they would have to be ordered?
 
Blinkbelle, brake pads and filters are what a motor factors sells. Ok lots sell flashy stick-on bits that are not of much use, but to sell pads and filters are the reason there are there. You don't say what car you have, but most good motor factors will have stock for the vast majority of cars sold in Ireland for the last 10 years. Even if stuff does have to be ordered, it is rarely longer than 3 days to get parts from most wholesalers in the country.

johnd thanks i will go to a motor factor shop i thought they only sold like alloys and wings stuff like that accessories. I have a peugeot 206 i am selling it next week cuz im getting a 307 and i have a friend who'll do the work for me if i get the parts.
