Hi there,

Does anybody know if I can cash part of my savings certificates with An Post or if I have to cash in the full amount?

Let's say I have €10.000,- in savings certificates, can I cash in only €5.000,- after 1 year?

If this is not possible, what would be the minimum amount I have to buy for and is there any restriction how many certificates I can buy?

Thanks,

Yes, you can, it would seem.

(2) A holder of Savings Certificates may encash in whole or in part such
Savings Certificates provided that, where the Savings Certificates are being
encashed in part, the minimum principal amount to be paid will be EUR
100 or the
value of the Savings Certificates, whichever is the lesser. Where the principal
amount of the Savings Certificates remaining following such repayment would

be less than EUR
100, then the Savings Certificates must be encashed in whole.
