Part-time working whilst on Disability

A friend of mine on L.T. disability has been offered some part-time work. She can't find anything on the net and doesn't want to ring the ? dept in case she gets the third degree or lose benefits. I assume that some part-time work is possible, but does anyone know criteria or where it can be located online ?

strange that, I got that link from welfare.ie and it pulled the info from cic...
begs the question is there more detailed info on cic site than welfare.ie?

Yes, they cover much more than social welfare, whose main job is delivering the various schemes; CIC's main function is to deliver information. In fact, having an Information Officer in SW is duplication of services and a waste of resources, IMHO.
