part time work + Jobseekers benefit

Hi My wife is currently getting €197 per week Jobseekers benefit .
She has been offered part time work 4 hrs Monday and 4 hrs Tuesday for which she will receive €40 per day or €80 for two days .How will this affect her jobseekers benefit . ??
Would it work out any better of she was to work all the hours in 1 day .
 
Assessment for Jobseekers benefit is based on a six day week i.e Monday to Saturday. If she works on a Sunday this income is totally disregarded.
 
Yes it would work out better if she could work all her hours in one day. She would only loose 1/6th of her benefit not 2/6ths

By working all hours in one day she would loose €33 from her Benefit and gain €80 from her work

By working same number of hours over 2 days she looses €66 from her Benefit and gains €80 from her work
 
Clubman - I was only offering an option if she was able to work all her time on a Sunday. Thinking outside the box.
