Parking Limerick City - outskirts

Can anyone advise of parking on outskirts of Limerick City - the Dublin side. I dont want to go into a multi storey or underground car park as not very good in those situations/car parks. Would prefer open air car park. Am willing to pay a daily rate and walk into city. I would be there on a Saturday.

Maybe someone can advise of anywhere close to town. Is Parkway Shopping Centre parking fully outdoors? . I have no problem walking 30 minutes or so !

thanks

Parkway is open. There is another Dunnes nearby with open air parking and another big shopping area with TK maxx, it called the parkway something. All free but I'm not sure how they are monitored as I'd only be there shopping. It would be more than 30 minutes walk but there is a regular bus service on the road outside, thank it's the 304.

The train station is used by lots of workers.

University of Limerick might be an option as well, good bus connections from the Stables. Probably too far to walk.

If you are able to drive in the dock road ( straight in from motorway), there is a Euro car park opposite Cleeves factory which is just minutes from the city centre, it's an open air car park. Parkway is really very far from the city centre.

Can confirm it’s a long walk from the centre of Limerick to the stables. Mind you, I only had to do it when we missed the last bus as poor students
