Parking fine in Northern Ireland

Hello,
I received a parking fine in Belfast yesterday for 60 pounds and was wondering what could happen if i just ignore it.Normally the good citizen in me would cough up the money and pay the penalty but as i am from another jurisdiction can they enforce it.I know there are plans to bring in cross border fines but i thought it would be late 2008 before its enforce.
Obviously i presume if i were ever stopped again in the North they could probably impound my car.Anybody know the score on this.

Well then pay it....If you say you are a "good citizen" juristiction does not come into it.......

Correct - there would be an outstanding summons on their system which you would have to answer personally at a PSNI station should you ever be stopped in NI by the authorities. Hardly worth worrying about for £60? why not just pay up and forget about it?
