paris taxi fares

would anyone have an approx. cost for getting a taxi from port maillot (yep we are going Ryannair!) to Montparnasses Rail station? Would have tried the metro but companion has mobility problems - many thanks! Just wondering what sort of cost we could expect!

I've never been a great user of Taxis in Paris but was always under the impression they are fairly expensive - roughly on a par with Dublin

Having said that Porte Maillot - Montparnasse isn't very far - about 4 miles maybe ?

Found this on google - ... seems reasonabl enough .. .a little cheaper than Dublin in fact ... you'd be on tariff A during the day and B @ night (your journey is wholly within the Peripherique)

Beware of the traffic - could seriously lengthen your journey if it's at peak time

I did this exact journey, to catch the bus to beauvais. When I say exact I was maybe 10 minutes down from Montparnasse Bienvenue station, it cost €10.30, two people and luggage. Traffic was light enough to normal.
