Parents 40th Wedding Anniversay - Ideas

My parents are celebrating their 40th Wedding anniversary in May and we are hoping to bring them away for the weekend. All in all there will be 8 adults and 7 kids. I was hoping for Parknasilla but they have delayed their opening until July. Something similar anywhere in the county - not Kellys in Rosslare - any help appreciated!
 
Faithlegg house is great value for what you get. The food is the best I have ever experienced in a hotel and the setting is very nice. Swimming pool for the kids and golf course for those interested. The downside is that it is a 10-15 min taxi drive from Waterford if you are looking to be entertained in the evening.
 
I dont know if it is out of your way, but for my parents 40th, a large crowd of us went to the Burrendale in Co. down. Very good service, great prices, pool and other good facilites and very child friendly.

If course, smoking is allowed in the bar, This might be a plus for you, or
it might be a minus.....
 
I'd recommend Mount Juliet...great food, great golf. A spa for the ladies and plenty for the children too.
