Looking to get approval for a 4 day week in work for a couple of months by using parental leave.
Does this affect any of my entitlements in any way? For example, if redundancy came up would it be based on my full salary or my reduced salary because of the 4-day week taking parental leave?
Is there anything else I should be thinking about?
The rest of your entitlements remain the same while you are using parental leave. Redundancy would be calculated on your full 5 day week pay if you were made redundant during this period.
