Parental Leave - can husband get my tax credits?

I'm thinking of taking parental leave for 4 months. It will make money a bit tight to say the least but am determined. Does anybody know if my husband is entitled to my tax credits while I'm not working or anything similar? Or am I entitled to anything that might make it easier? here's hoping...

Hi bramasole, afaik I think your dh will be able to get most (not all as you have to keep a basic now from what i recall??), of your tax credits.
There is homecarers tax credit too for your dh but I am not sure of the situation if you are on parental leave, as you are still in work.
Your best bet is to ring tax office and ask them what would be the best way to work it out, they are more than helpful.
