Panorama changed hotel 2 days before departure

We are due to leave for Lanzarote on Sunday and Panorama have called to say the apt is over booked!

We were due to stay in the Sol Lanzarote in Matagorda and they want to switch us to the Sol Morromar. Anyone stayed there, they are offering 50 euro compensation. So fed up!
 
askalot: stayed it the sol lanzarote ( just after they took it over admittedly) and while it was in a brilliant location beach wise the apartment block is huge and we found it very crowded by the pool. wouldnt go back. not the first time panorama has been mentioned on aam.
 
Hi - morning of our honeymoon - travel company called to say our hotel was overbooked!! as you can imagine we were mortified offered us something which we were not happy about.

We told them as it was not our choice of hotel that we wanted to be put into a 5 star hotel and nothing less and told them that under no circumstances would we take anything else. basically just stick to your guns as it is not your fault. Good Luck
 
I have flew with panorama before and lets just say NEVER AGAIN.

There rep was total rubbish cocky little so and so. And the apt block was huge we cudnt even find the apt at 1.00am and there was no one to help us. only one guy at the check in and about 40 people waiting and the rep pissed of home. some were there till 5 in the mornin so not impressed.

I have stayed where they are putting you its alright but you shouldnt put up with it. What good is €50 to you? You didnt pick somewhere you wanted to go for them to change it
