We are on a budget of under 4k and would like to get a nice stairs with a scroll at the end of it. met a guy recently who advised we can get oak handrails and the rest red deal and paint the stair threads white!! which part of the stairs are threads?
we are getting oak doors and painting the architrave and skirting white - so it would look nice - we are also putting a carpet runner up the stairs thats why we dont want to get a full oak stairs - thanks
