We have inherited a a solid pine hand built kitchen with our house. It has, I think a waxed finish. I want to paint it. How do I remove the wax finish ? I was planning to paint it with a farrow and ball water based eggshell, Any tips or advice? I've looked up a few DIY sites but none mention painting over a wax finish.
