hi,

I have a rusty electric panel radiator in bathroom, about 16 years old now, nothing wrong with it at all, just unsightly surface rust on it from condensation in the bathroom. After a bit of sanding etc I am thinking of using hammerite instead of a radiator paint. Any advice?

Isn't Hammerite a bit 'thick'?

16 year old electric bathroom heater.............??

Why paint it - replace it as newer ones probably cost a fraction to run. Unless you are just painting it to have look clean / freash.

Plan to paint it as it just looks dirty from the rust. It is otherwise excellent. I prefer to spend a tenner or so on paint rather than up to €200 on a replacement. Hammerite do a radiator enamel anyway.
