painter and carpet cleaner lucan area

Im looking for a local painter just to paint the hall, stairs and landing - its just a regular 3 bed semi - any idea on the going rate?

Once thats done I want to get the carpet cleaned - any ideas and again what kind of cost would i be looking at?

Was just talking to a painter (actually my brother) and he he says that if its just the walls and ceilings you are looking at about E800 but if you anre going to paint all the woodwork too its about E1,300. Don't know if these are good or bad prices, but he said it includes all the paint and would take about 2 or 3 days, but it should give you an idea.
