Paint stained internal doors with glass??

Hi, just moved to new house and the previous owner used a teak stain on solid oak doors with top panel stained glass. I don't like teak, too dark for our hall, and was wondering has anybody ever painted doors like this maybe offwhite? Any ideas what I could do?
Wish they oakstained them but anyway!!

Might be worth trying to strip one down first if you prefer the timber finish and if it does'nt work sure you can paint them then, Jasmin White is a lovely colour on internal doors.
