Can anyone recommend a paint that goes on easily and covers well for the outside of a house. I want to paint my caps on top of the pillars and walls and the wall itself. The coulour i would like would be a dark chocolate brown? Any suggestions?

Dulux Weathershield goes on very easily and lasts years, remember though once you paint your wall and capping thats its an awful job stripping it again if you ever get sick of looking at it and want to go back to the original wall colour.
Have you thought about powerwashing the walls and capping?
I did this and it turned out as good as new very happy with the end result.

Thanks Dobber22.

I have decided not to paint the surrounding walls but will paint the capd brown as they are a bit plain looking. The house is relitavly new so its not that its dirty or anything its just i think it would look nice!!

Whatever you do don't use gloss paint and if you have red bricks don't paint over them.
