I'm just about to get a new kitchen fitted. It will be ivory gloss, a walnut worktop and cream/ivory tiles. I am wondering what colour to put on the walls. I don't like dark strong colours but I'm so fed up with cream type paint. I'd like a change has anyone got any ideas for me.

The kitchen has plenty of natural light. A large kitchen window and two large french doors (all glass) that open out to the back garden with side panels of glass on the doors too. I have 5 samples here, all different shades of light green and I am off to test them now...
Have you look at Dulux Heritage Range. Paint colour "Galway Bay" is very nice. It does look dark on the shade card but I bought a sample bottle and it is slighty lighter in colour to the shade card.
I've just done that type of kitchen for a client & they're dithering between Toasted Almond or Mellow Sage (both by Crown and both gorgeous colours that work equally well with the kitchen)
