Paid the Household Charge 2012, will I get any credit for that with the LPT in 2012?

I paid the Household Charge in 2012 like many others. Will that be taken into account when applying the Property Tax next year? Will this €100 be deducted from my Property Tax charge (unless the government can get 100% of the Household Charge collected)? There is enough anger out there at the moment without the powers that be ignoring the people who have paid the H C.

Household charge abolished, replaced by annual property tax with first annual paymernt to start in 2013 however a payment ' holiday ' for first 6 months of 2013 applies.

The 2012 Household Charge was just for 2012.

As sahd says, the 2012 HC was for 2012 nothing to do with 2013.

If not paid before July next year it will double to 200 euros and collected through the local property tax system

With revenue collecting it I'd say there is no way out anyway !!

As I understand it if you have registered there is no way out.

Do you honestly believe that if you haven't registered that they will never find you?
